bdia seminar: “Sustainable working environments in cooperation with Interface”

Workspace design with a focus on people and climate

The world of work is changing. Designers and companies alike are facing a multitude of (new) challenges that have an impact on space, technology and organization. Liveable working environments, necessary transformation processes and responsibility for the climate are key building blocks for a sustainable working world.

In this seminar, you will learn about the importance of the building sector in the fight against climate change and the decisive role that the CO2 footprint plays in this. What concrete options for action are there for interior designers?

You will also learn how to create interior spaces that increase the productivity and well-being of employees. The integration of nature in the design approach of biophilic design makes just as positive a contribution as a community-promoting and identity-creating workspace design. The WELL Building Standard offers an exciting holistic view of health and wellbeing in the workplace beyond the physical space.

First WELL certification in Bavaria – MSD Germany receives gold for “Die Macherei”

First WELL certification in Bavaria – MSD Germany receives gold for “Die Macherei”

Back in June, the MSD Germany headquarters in the Macherei in Munich was awarded the coveted WELL Gold certification. This award from the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI) promotes a targeted commitment to improving the well-being and health of building users. MSD Germany is thus one of the first companies in Germany and the first in Bavaria to receive this award.

“The sole aim of Well certification is to positively influence the comfort, health and well-being of users through the design of buildings and interiors. This is exactly what the Employee Experience is all about. We want to create an inclusive environment for our diverse employees in which they all feel very comfortable. We set ourselves this high standard because it makes us more creative and productive. At the same time, we increase our attractiveness for future talent”, explains Wolfgang Stenger, Employee Experience Lead & Inclusion Officer, MSD Deutschland.

As an accredited specialist, Ramona Schuster accompanied the WELL certification on behalf of Hoinka: “In addition to the planning and structural aspects, operational and personnel-related issues also play a decisive role. The challenge is to prepare the requirements for the building as well as for facility management and human resources in accordance with the WELL guidelines and to document them continuously during operation.“

Dr. Roman Wagner, Managing Director of W+P workspace consulting, brought the participants together and managed the intensive process: “WELL certification is an ongoing process that must be repeated regularly. This is the only way to ensure continuous improvement of processes and standards. Regular on-site appointments, extensive measurements and intensive documentation ensure high quality for health and well-being in the office.

The whole team at W+P workspace consulting congratulates on this award!
We wish all employees at MSD a great new working experience!

Networking at Noventi Health SE

Networking at Noventi Health SE

Over the past five years, we have had the great opportunity to be involved in the construction of the “NOVENTI Health SE” building in Bietigheim-Bissingen. The result of our work is a modern office landscape with a fresh design and great facilities for all employees, such as a fitness area, a staff restaurant and a roof terrace with a loft.

We had the honor of holding our NOVENTI networking event on site. The event started when everyone got together and Nobert Hübsch, the project manager at NOVENTI, spoke enthusiastically about this unique project. He emphasized how happy the employees are with their new offices and that they enjoy being back at work.

Nanine Lux then led the group through the various rooms. She explained the background and considerations that played a role in the design of the rooms. The tour ended on the impressive top floor. There we were welcomed with refreshing drinks and listened to a short presentation by Nanine, in which the entire course of the project was summarized. Finally, we were invited to enjoy networking over snacks and cool drinks on the roof terrace.

The event continued until the sun slowly set and bid us farewell with a beautiful evening sky. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all participants. Your presence and commitment made this event a special success. Without you, it would not have been possible to create such an impressive atmosphere and make valuable contacts.
