BANK MUC

Following a 10-year lease extension, the bank decided to modernize the old space in Munich’s old town. As part of the refresh, the focus was on reducing storage space due to the advancing digitalization and creating flexible workstations that can be optimally adapted to the respective activities. In addition, the previously small kitchenette was opened up to create an inviting atmosphere for both employees and customers.

After just six months between the first inspection and implementation, the rooms have changed significantly and are almost unrecognizable. A bright, Scandinavian design now characterizes the surfaces and creates a wide, open atmosphere thanks to the reduced storage space. The kitchen in particular benefits from the opening of the corridor wall, which creates a bright, inviting effect thanks to the daylight. It not only offers colleagues space to eat lunch together, but also for informal meetings at a screen integrated into the social area.

In addition, further rooms such as a parent-child room, a telephone box and an agile area separated by curtains were created through targeted design, offering employees a variety of opportunities for concentrated work and relaxing retreats.
