A project in cooperation with D’NA – UNIQUE CORPORATE SPACES

The office building in Haar, which the company used itself, no longer met today’s requirements for meeting, communication and agile collaboration. A relocation was considered in 2017 and underpinned by a market analysis in the east of Munich. In summer 2018, a rental agreement was signed in the M5 section of the building in the favored “Die Macherei” district.

The aim was to implement an activity-based working (ABW) concept for MSD that conveys the individual character and supports the successful course in the coming years. The participatory transformation process as part of the subsidiary of the future was to take sustainability, digitalization, mobility, new work, well-being, diversity, inclusion and leadership culture into account in depth.

The MSD – Die Macherei project stands out from the mass of office projects in recent years, and not just because of D’NA’s inspiring design. The particular challenge for the project lay in the global collaboration, the far-reaching requirements for a special and modern working environment and the company’s committed goals with regard to the inclusion of disadvantaged employees.

In particular, the far-reaching transformation process, over 10 working groups deep into the company, ensured that the project goals were 100% in line with the result and the very positive feedback from the employees: the company and the project team spared no effort and no expense to offer all MSD employees the best for their future work in the Macherei.
